It is a pleasure to introduce Foothill Christian School to one of our newest Corporate Sponsors, NuHome Financial Services in San Dimas. Justin Brown, owner and broker, is one of our Foothill Christian School Dads. He and his wife, Paula, are the proud parents Lucas, a kindergartener in Mrs. Parenti’s class.
FCS: Justin, how did you and Paula come to select Foothill for your child? Did the journey begin at the Route 66 Preschool?
JB: We chose Foothill Christian based on a reference from a very happy parent of a Foothill Christian student, and after personally visiting the school and meeting many others. We felt this was the best place for our little one.
FCS: Are you and Paula natives of the area?
JB: Yes, Paula and I are from the Covina/San Dimas area. We grew up out here and have been friends since high school. We currently live in La Verne, and my business is in San Dimas.
FCS: How long have you been involved in the mortgage industry?
JB: I have been in the mortgage industry about 12 years. The majority of my mortgage career has been in the Loan Processing, Underwriting, and Operations Management positions. About 3 years ago when my company went out of business like so many others in the industry, I decided to start my own mortgage company locally. I saw the industry turn from a local face to face business platform where you really got to know your clients and their needs, to a streamlined order taking process where business was done mostly over the phone. I thought this was as good a time as ever to go back to the old way of doing things and start a business that caters to clients locally and within the community. That type of caring service was the environment I grew up in. Thanks to lots of prayers, hard work, and customer service my business has grown every year.
FCS: What distinguishes your business now?
JB: I sincerely care about every one of my clients and put their needs first. I am always willing to do whatever it takes and go the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction. My business has been built on striving to ensure everyone I help would never hesitate to refer me, and I make sure I do everything in my power to continue that level of service. Offering the best deals and competitive rates is the easy part, but becoming a person’s lender for life is my ultimate reward. I offer programs for first time homebuyers, down payments assistance, loans for veterans, loans to purchase and remodel, refinance, debt consolidation, and even reverse mortgages.
