Decidedly Academic. Distinctively Christian.

Happy Thanksgiving

At this time of Thanksgiving, we pause to count our blessings.  We give praise to our God for him who gives us blessings far beyond what we deserve.  We give thanks for the freedom of this great nation in which we live.  For the priceless blessings we have in our children, our families, and our communities.  For the opportunity we have to give our students a God-honoring education that seeks excellence and the pursuit of compassionate service.

This Thanksgiving, we express deep gratitude for the twenty-three 8th graders, eleven parents and three faculty members who are in the Dominican Republic serving others and proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.  We pray also for God’s sovereign presence in the troubled areas of the world, like the Middle East, for peace and reconciliation among those who are divided.  We pray that your time together with family and friends will be full of rich memories.  And as we look to all that we have, we acknowledge our Lord and Savior who is worthy of our praise.  Our best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving!
