“You’re Listening to the Voice of the Eagles here on FM 99.9…KFCS”
Some may be familiar with posted signs near airports that instruct travelers to tune their radios for airport news and information. That’s idea behind our new radio frequency here at Foothill Christian School. When families arrive in the morning and afternoon and make their way through carline, they can tune-in to FM 99.9 for the latest news and happenings here at Foothill. The creative brainchild of Technology Director, Tony Ramirez, and Marketing Coordinator, Alina Rietze, KFCS 99.9 FM is an actual radio frequency, licensed and authorized by the FCC. Radios can begin receiving the 99.9 FM radio signal within 500 feet of the Baseline Campus.
Radio personality and Foothill Mom, Irma Blanco (a familiar voice to southern California radio listeners), teamed-up with Foothill’s Director of Development, Jerry Kitchel, to co-host the KFCS launch during carline on Tuesday. FCS Insiders, Ben and Bekah, joined Irma and Jerry during the hour-long broadcast. Irma, whose most recently job included a morning show on 104.3 MYFM with “Valentine in the Morning”, is a 23 year veteran of professional radio. Jerry said that Irma brought “lots of energy and sparkle to the morning,” For Irma, it was an enjoyable assignment which she described as “lots of fun helping launch the school’s first radio broadcast on 99.9!”
Initial plans call for a daily broadcast that will incorporate student “Insiders” who will pre-record announcements and events for airing Monday through Friday when school is in session.
Listen to our first broadcast from yesterday morning!
Hi, I do think this is an excellent site. I stumbledupon it
😉 I’m going to come back once again since I bookmarked it. Money and freedom is the best way to change, may you be rich and continue to help other people.
Its like you learn my mind! You appear to know a
lot about this, like you wrote the e-book in it
or something. I believe that you simply could do with some p.
c. to drive the message home a little bit, however instead
of that, this is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
