Glendora, CA, August 27, 2014— Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi has selected President and CEO of America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), Mendell L. Thompson as a 2014 Angels in Adoption™ awardee for his outstanding advocacy of defending the cause of the fatherless. The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute (CCAI), which orchestrated the Angels in Adoption™ program, will honor Mr. Thompson at an awards ceremony on September 16 and gala on September 17 in Washington, DC.
Mendell L. Thompson is being honored for spearheading the adoption ministry at America’s Christian Credit Union. ACCU has helped over 1,000 children find forever families through their award-winning Adoption Loan Program. In response to the news of receiving this award Thompson said, “This is indeed an honor, blessing and statement of God’s hand on our mission.
