Dominican Republic – Day 1

Hello! This is Gavin Roe. Yesterday at LAX we had a long time waiting for our flight to come and pick us up to go to Miami. It was a long and exhausting flight, and nobody got any sleep. Finally, after 6 hours of flying, we made it to our destination! Excited to go to the foundation tomorrow… But now, it’s time to sleep!

Hey buds, it’s Ashton! Yesterday was such a long and tiresome day. We left at 1 am and got to Miami at around 9:30am and rushed to our other terminal for a 10:10 departure. I was sitting next to someone who got me sick and that stunk, but I’m feeling better now! We got to our hotel at 2 PM and got our rooms at 4:45. Everyone was just so tired that we hung out and ate, then had our meeting. Now, I think everyone is so tired they just want to sleep badly! It was a great day. I can’t wait for more!

Thanks to everyone who prayed for our travels and safety! We’re glad to be here and from what we’ve seen, this place is beautiful! Prayers for tomorrow as we go to the foundation would be appreciated!
