Decidedly Academic. Distinctively Christian.

Dominican Republic – Day 2

¡Hola! This is Kenzie Robinson! Today was the first day at the foundation. We passed out clothes and fed the kids for lunch. It is crazy how thankful they are for the smallest things. It’s been a tiring day.

This is Fabian! Today was amazing. I realized how much they all care for each other and are thankful for everything they have. It made me create a better bond with my classmates. I made a great bond with a kid name Michael. He is 15 and works for Many Mota. Today was a exhausting day and I am grateful for it.

This is Devon Cosio! Today was eye-opening and really hit the heart. We sorted and passed out uniforms all day and after that we took a tour in the poorest part of the village. There we gave a bunch of food to seven families in El Tamarindo and prayed over them. The moms were really nice and bought the food for the families out of their own pocket. Today was life-changing and we have only scratched the surface.

Tomorrow we are going to two different schools, so prayers would be appreciated for the drama and puppet teams and for the students who share their testimony.
