Accreditation Planning
Here on campus our faculty and staff are diligently preparing for our 2017 accreditation visit. Foothill Christian School & Preschool have been accredited by both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1986. Every six years we must repeat the self-study process identifying the school’s strengths and targeted areas of growth. Our faculty and staff serve on various committees that evaluate every aspect of school life. In the past week both our K-8 faculty and preschool faculty have had meetings to discuss the school’s instructional program, identify the many positive things that are happening each day, and pinpoint those areas we seek to improve. Working collaboratively has been a powerful experience. We are excited about this process and the impact it will have on helping our school achieve its goal of being “Decidedly Academic and Distinctively Christian” and above all else bringing glory to God.
