Our team of 22 students, 3 teachers, and 13 parents are spending their Thanksgiving break ministering to those in the Dominican Republic. Working alongside the Manny Mota Foundation they have been delivering uniforms and toys to children in the area and will even prepare a traditional, American Thanksgiving dinner to hundreds of people. We will be following them closely and updating our blog with the latest pictures and video of their adventures. Please check back often!
Another great day in the DR. We got a chance to go to two Christian schools here. We performed songs, a puppet show, a dramatic skit, and we colored with them. We handed out some of the uniforms that we shipped with the money from all of the support of Jamba Juice, all thanks to your help. We even passed out Spanish Bibles that the FCS 2nd grade classes bought, along with candy collected from Halloween. The number of kids at the foundation doubled from yesterday, and there will be even more tomorrow. Over all it was another amazing day in the Dominican Republic!
